William George “Bill” Randall, 91, husband of the late Emma Deese Randall of Salisbury, passed away Monday, October 15, 2018 at his residence.
Born November 21, 1926 in Saxtons River, Vermont, he was the son of the late Allen George Randall and Mable Pitkin Randall.
Mr. Randall attended Vermont Academy before serving in the U.S. Army during World War II. He later worked 39 years as a truck driver for Yellow Freight. He was a member of Teamsters Local Union #71 and a Master Mason of Keller Memorial Lodge #657 in Rockwell for more than fifty years. He enjoyed traveling and camping with his family. He will be remembered fondly for his quick wit and humor, always bringing a smile to the faces of those he met.
He is survived by his three daughters, Emma Grey Randall and her husband Gene Kuzminski, Billie Doyle and her husband Keith, and Wilda Camp and her husband Al, as well as three grandchildren, Tony Smith, Eric and Alyssa Camp, and two great-grandchildren, Carter and Zoe Smith. He is also survived by his sisters Shirley Kelton and Druscilla Kuschka.
In addition to his wife Emma, he was predeceased by his brother Allan “Bud” Randall.
The family will receive friends and relatives at the residence of Mr. Randall on Tuesday, October 16 between the hours of 5:00 pm and 8:00pm.
A graveside service will be held at Brookhill Memorial Gardens Wednesday, October 17 at 2:00 pm conducted by Pastor David Livingston Jr. Military Rites will be rendered by the North Carolina National Guard.
