Rebekah "Becky" Ann Culp Edwards, 77, of Salisbury, passed away Monday, August 27, 2018 at Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House in Salisbury, NC.
She was born April 6, 1941 in Stanly County, NC to Allen and Helen Shankle Culp. Becky was a graduate of Norwood High School. She retired from the Rowan County School System after working as a Teacher's Assistant at Morgan Elementary School for over 20 years. Becky was an active member of Providence United Methodist Church.
Becky loved her time at Morgan Elementary School, she loved all of the children she taught over the years.
In addition to her parents, Becky was preceded in death by her son, Neal Timothy Edwards.
Becky is survived by her husband of over 57 years, Arthur Fred Edwards, whom she married September 3, 1960; son, Douglas Arthur Edwards and wife Gina of Winston Salem; daughter, Mandy Earnhardt and husband Alan of Gold Hill; grandsons, Adam Edwards, Joshua Edwards, Brandon Edwards, Matthew Earnhardt and wife Ginny, and Jeremy Earnhardt and wife Lauren; granddaughter, Keira Edwards; great-grandchildren, Allison, Charlotte, and Brooks; brothers, Raymond Culp and wife Shirley, Steve Culp and wife Gail, Eric Culp and wife Liz, and Scott Culp.
The family will greet friends and relatives on Thursday, August 30, 2018, 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Providence United Methodist Church, Salisbury, NC.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 30, 2018, in the Providence United Methodist Church, Salisbury, NC, with Rev. Aldana Allen, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Providence United Methodist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Providence United Methodist Church 6450 Bringle Ferry Road Salisbury NC 28146.
