Mildred Drye "Bill" Misenheimer, 92, of Rockwell, passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2018.
She was born August 14, 1925, in Rockwell to the late Robert and Fannie Beaver Drye. Mrs. Misenheimer attended Rockwell High School and was a longtime seamstress at Cannon Mills, retiring in 1990. She was a member of West Park Baptist Church where she was active in many church activities as long as her health allowed. Mrs. Misenheimer enjoyed sewing, making quilts, fishing, and gardening. She truly loved the time she spent with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Hilbert Misenheimer; daughters, Billie Theresa Leach, Rickie Dianna Moore Leonard, and Brenda K. Leach; siblings, Dot Swinson, Sadie Roseman, Louise Harwood, Roy Drye, Bobby Drye, Frank Drye, Margie Fesperman, Naomi Ludwig, Alma Pauline Drye, and Bernard Drye; granddaughter, Brenda Moore; and great-grandson, Ashley Kincaid
She is survived by her grandchildren, Jimmy Kincaid, Gwen Johnston, Lonnie Moore, Angie Leach, Christine Comer, Tammy Lassiter, Teresa Leach, Tommy Moore, Curtis Leach, Jr., Johnny Leach, Ronnie Leach; 23 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great grandchildren.
The family will greet friends and relatives on Sunday, August 12, 2018, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm at Powles Staton Funeral Home, Rockwell.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, August 13, 2018, in West Park Baptist Church, Rockwell, with Pastor Billy Sechrist and Evangelist Charles Carver officiating. Mrs. Misenheimer will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the funeral service.
Burial will follow in West Park Baptist Church Cemetery.
