Mr. Edward “Eddie” James Pearce, Jr., 47, of Salisbury passed away on Friday, March 16, 2018 at his residence. Mr. Pearce was born July 18, 1970 in Fort Polk, Louisiana, son of the late Edward “E.J.” Pearce, Sr. and Lois “Fran” Brown.
Mr. Pearce was a man of God and touched many with his faith and encouragement, always acknowledging, "It's A Good Day". He had a love for animals and shared his home with many. He enjoyed spending time at the beach and now walks the eternal shores with Mojo by his side.
Mr. Pearce was a Fabricator for Stewart Haas Racing and at the Fontana, California race all of the Stewart Haas race cars will carry a special decal in rememberance of Mr. Pearce.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sister Teresa Peacock.
He is survived by his wife, Tamra “Tammy” Padgett Pearce, sisters, Mary Leon Guerrero and Lois Reeks, both of Keystone Heights, Florida.
There will be a memorial service at Powles Staton Funeral Home on Saturday, March 24th at 2:00 PM conducted by Mr. Tony Saxon.
