Zula Bost Euart, 89, of Salisbury, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2018.
She was born March 5, 1929, in Rockwell to the late Will and Emma Harwood Bost. She was a 1948 graduate of Granite Quarry High School and worked as a Seamstress for Rowan Industries and Carolina Underwear, retiring in 1990.
Mrs. Euart was a member of Rockwell United Methodist Church where she was formerly active in the United Methodist Women, was a nursery worker and member of the Golden Rule Sunday School Class.
She was a dairy wife who had a green thumb, enjoyed tending flowers, growing pineapples, birds, traveling, the beach, seashell collecting, crafts of any kind, Christmastime and decorating for Christmas; first and foremost, she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Euart was known for her collection of angel, dog, and doll figurines, "Zula's Chocolate Candy," and her red velvet and coconut cakes.
She is survived by her sons, Chris Eugene Euart and wife, Robbin of Salisbury and Carlos Eric "Carlie" Euart of Salisbury; daughter, Cindy Euart Brewer and husband, Terrell of Salisbury; granddaughter, Ashley Euart Adams and husband, Bradley; grandsons, Jason Eugene Euart and wife, Candice and Gabriel Eugene Brewer; great-grandchildren, Delton and Clara Adams and Olivia Jeneane Euart; sisters-in-law, Louise Bost, Pauline Webb, and Elsie Lomax; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Euart was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Eugene Euart, who she married July 30, 1949, daughter, Carolyn Euart Morgan, and brothers, Ralph Bost and Albert Ray Bost.
The family will greet friends and relatives on Sunday, March 18, 2018, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Powles Staton Funeral Home, Rockwell, NC.
The funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Monday, March 19, 2018, in Rockwell United Methodist Church, Rockwell, NC, with Rev. Charles Curtis, officiating.
Burial will take place in Brookhill Memorial Gardens.
