Melody "Kim" Kriminger Cochran , 58, of Salisbury, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at her home in Salisbury.
She was born May 27, 1959 in Salisbury, NC to the late John Kriminger and Edith Bost Kriminger Ribelin. Kim attended East Rowan High School and graduated from Central State Beauty College. Kim was a Beautician in Salisbury for over 15 years, then she worked for Canon Mills, Pillowtex and Freightliner, and most recently for S&D Coffee in Concord.
Kim loved animals, enjoyed riding horses, gardening, and collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia.
In addition to her parents, Kim was preceded in death by her son, Barry Stoner.
Kim is survived by her husband of over 14 years, Loyd Wayne Cochran, whom she married February 14, 2003; daughters, Elisha Slagle, Jessica Smith and Nathan Riddick of Winston Salem, Melissa Cochran Wright and husband Shane of Ellenboro, and Audrey Cochran Murray and husband Michael of Rutherfordton; brother, John H. Kriminger and wife Cindy of Salisbury; granddaughters, Kyleigh McIntrye of the home, Carsyn Murray, and Kynadey Murray; grandsons, Caleb Slagle, Gavin Cochran, Dylan Wright, Sidney Bradley, and Peyton Murray; nephew, Taylor Kriminger; and niece, Haley Kriminger.
The family will greet friends and relatives on Friday, January 5, 2018, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm at Powles Staton Funeral Home, Rockwell, NC.
The funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm on Friday, January 5, 2018, in the Powles Staton Funeral Home Chapel, Rockwell, NC, with Rev. Buddy Hoffner, officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Powles Staton Funeral Home to help with final expenses.
