Frank Ronald Hoyt, 79, of Rockwell, passed away Monday, January 1, 2018.
He was born April 15, 1938, in Bayonne, NJ to the late Frank Benjamin Hoyt and Anna Sperling Hoyt. Mr. Hoyt served in the National Guard from 1957-1974 and was employed in Radio Communications with New Jersey State Police, General Electric, and Two-Way Radio of Carolina, Inc. from where he retired as Service Manager.
He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and enjoyed taking leisurely drives and engaging others in conversation.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Walling Hoyt and one grandson.
Frank is survived by his children, Frances Pepper and husband, Jeffrey, of Salisbury, Frank Hoyt of Rockwell, Frederick Hoyt of Rockwell, Forrest Hoyt and wife, Amy, of Salisbury, Faith Morris and husband, Richard, of Oxford, Fawn Hoyt of Gold Hill, and Felicity Hoyt of Oxford, six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 6, 2018, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Rockwell, conducted by Rev. Bruce Sheeks.
