Deborah Lynn Perry Efird, 58, of Rockwell, passed away Friday, November 24, 2017 at Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House in Salisbury, NC.
She was born October 3, 1959 in Concord, NC to the late Rev. Wilson and Clara McClure Perry.
Deborah was a very active member of West Park Baptist Church, she taught Sunday School, sang in the choir, and was a member of the West Park Trio.
Deborah was a seamstress, she enjoyed sewing and making wedding and bridesmaid dresses. She was a very compassionate person who opened her doors to anyone and made them feel loved.
In addition to her parents, Deborah was preceded in death by her brothers, Bruce Perry, John Perry.
Deborah is survived by her husband of over 39 years, Jimmie James Efird, whom she married March 25, 1978; daughters, Jessica Sechrist and husband Billy of Rockwell, and Hannah Efird and fiance` Wesley David of Rockwell; son, Jason Lee Efird and Whitney Tillson of Salisbury; three granddaughters, Leah, Alli and Macy Sechrist; sisters, Elaine Beaver and husband Rev. Larry, Rachel Mullins and husband Roger; brothers, Marshall Perry and wife Carol, Rev. Larry Perry and wife Janice, Rev. J.L. Perry and wife Libby, Rev. Floyd Perry and wife Joyce, Rev. Danny Perry and wife Annette, and Paul Perry and wife Jan.
The family will greet friends and relatives on Monday, November 27, 2017, 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm at West Park Baptist Church.
The funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Monday, November 27, 2017, at West Park Baptist Church with Pastor Billy Sechrist, and Rev. Charles Carver, officiating.
Burial will follow in the West Park Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House 1229 Statesville Blvd. Salisbury, NC 28144. .
