Donna Kay Ridenhour, 63, of Rockwell, passed away on Monday, November 13, 2017 at her residence. She was born on October 23, 1954 in Salisbury, NC to Margie Loflin Miller and the late James A. Miller.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of East Spencer and was a 1972 graduate of North Rowan High School. Donna received her degree in Phlebotomy from Rowan Cabarrus Community College and worked for the Rowan County Health Department and then for Carolinas Medical Center - Northeast as a Lab Technician. She enjoyed sewing, arts and crafts, and going to the mountains with her family. Donna loved life and lived every moment to the fullest.
In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her grandmother, Evelyn Loflin; and her adopted family, Doris and Baxter Morgan.
In addition to her mother she is survived by her husband of 32 years, Freddie Steed Ridenhour of Rockwell; her daughter, Kim Rabon and husband Jamie of Gold Hill; her son, Dusty Bryant and wife Carla of Faith; and grandchildren, Sydney Turner, Cole File, and Laylla Rabon.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday November 17, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Powles Staton Funeral Home (913 W. Main St., Rockwell, NC 28138).
