Noah Damon Ward, 20, of Salisbury passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2017. He was born November 4, 1996, in Radford, VA to Pete and Teresa Williams Ward.
Noah was a 2015 graduate of East Rowan High School and was currently enrolled at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College. He was employed with Ruby Tuesday in Kannapolis and planned to pursue a career in Culinary Arts.
Noah was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Frances Hall Turner and paternal grandmother, Rose Marie Ward.
In addition to his parents, Pete and Teresa, he is survived by his maternal grandfather, David Turner of Radford, VA, paternal grandfather, Reuben K. Ward of Salisbury, great-aunt, Joyce Bellay of Charleston, WV, aunt and uncle, Emily and James Gordon of Winchester, VA, and cousins, Kristin Gordon Oakley of Farmville, NC and Katie Gordon of Clearwater, FL.
The family will visit with friends and relatives from 10:30 AM to 11:45 PM on Monday, October 2, 2017, at Powles Staton Funeral Home in Rockwell. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 Noon in the chapel of Powles Staton Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. Richard Myers. Entombment will be held at 1:30 PM on Tuesday, October 3, 2017, in Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin, VA.
