Larry Clifton Perry, 69, of Gold Hill, passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at the Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House in Salisbury.
He was born on October 28, 1947 to the late Ambrose Clinton Perry and Helen Perry Brady in Rockwell, NC. Larry was the owner and operator of Perry's Construction in Albemarle. Larry was a Veteran of the United States Navy, serving in both Vietnam and The Gulf War. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Gold Hill Larry enjoyed playing cards, traveling and carpentry when he was able.
In addition to his parents, Larry is preceded in death by brothers, David Charles Perry and William "Bill" Franklin Perry.
Larry is survived by Two Sons, Daniel Perry and wife Kimberly of Granite Quarry, and Chad Allen Perry and financee Beverly Hartsell of Albemarle; Three Brothers, J. C. Perry and wife Sherry, Alfred Perry and wife Cathy, and Mike Perry all of Gold Hill; Granddaughter, Allie Perry; Grandson, Jake Perry; and Caregiver and Special Friend, Phyllis Treece.
Visitation will be held Monday, March 6, 2017, 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Gold Hill, Gold Hill, NC.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 6, 2017, 3:00 pm at the First Baptist Church of Gold Hill, Gold Hill, NC, with Pastor Toney Parsons, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Gold Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Larry may be made to Rowan Helping Ministries 226 N. Long Street Salisbury NC 28144.
