Kenneth Wayne Lesley, 63, of Gold Hill, passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis, after a prolonged battle with MSA.
He was born on February 22, 1953 to the late Robert C. and Louise Morgan Lesley. Ken was a 1972 graduate of East Rowan High School. Ken was a self employed landscaper, he owned and operated Ken's Lawn & Landscaping for well over 30 years before the onset of his illness.
He was a dedicated Bible student and a member of Salisbury Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by Daughter, Amanda Diane Lesley
Ken is survived by his Wife of over 42 years, Karen Painter Lesley, whom he married April 6, 1974; Two Sons, Jeff Lesley and wife Tiffany of Carolina Beach, Brian Lesley and wife Melissa of Raleigh; Twin Grandsons, Cameron and Spencer Lesley; Two Brothers, Melvin Lesley of Gold Hill and James Lesley of Salisbury.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 26, 2016, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Powles Staton Funeral Home, Rockwell, NC.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2016, at 2:00 pm at the Powles Staton Funeral Home Chapel, Rockwell, NC, with Evangelist Jimmy Brown of Salisbury Church of Christ, officiating.
Burial will follow in Brookhill Memorial Gardens.
