Sandra "Ninny" Fordham, 79, of Salisbury passed away Friday, September 9, 2016, at the Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House surrounded by her family. Mrs. Fordham was born in Bragg City, Missouri on August 21, 1937 daughter of the late Cecil J. Vance and Ruby Curtis Vance.
Sandra was a 1955 Graduate of Grand Haven High School in Michigan and had retired from Bell South.
Ninny enjoyed cooking, being with friends and loved being with family especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by grandson Bradley Santis and great grandson Josuha Allen.
Survivors include children, Linda Fordham Santis of Salisbury and Mark Warren Fordham and wife Sandy of Lake Wylie, SC; brother James Vance and wife Chari of Las Cruces, NM; grandchildren, Heather Simpson and husband Cody, Drew Santis, Daniel Fordham and Makaylah Fordham: great grandchildren, Jacob Allen and Kennedy Bodak.
Services: Memorial services will be held at 7:00 PM Monday, September 19, 2016 at Powles Staton Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Billy Beaver pastor of Main Street Baptist Church, China Grove will officiate at the service.
