Jimmy Lane Ridenhour, 64, of Rockwell, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at the Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House in Salisbury, NC.
He was born on November 18, 1951 to the late James Ridenhour and Hazel Misenheimer in Rowan County, NC. Jimmy was a truck driver by trade.
Jimmy enjoyed fishing, riding horses, going on wagon rides, and listening to beach music. Jimmy loved traveling to Cherry Grove, and spending time with his girls and grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Jimmy is preceded in death by a sister, Peggy McKeithan.
Jimmy is survived by; Three Daughters, Cindy Farrington and husband Michael of Gold Hill, Shonya Ridenhour and husband Martin Jarman of Wadesboro, and Tonya Ridenhour and husband Wendell Walters of Wadesboro; Three Granddaughters, Samantha Walters, Marissa Johnstone, and Nicole Johnstone; Grandson, Lane Jarman; Great-grandson, Dason Christy; Brother, Glenn Ridenhour; Sister, Brenda Talley; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Monday, June 20, 2016, from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Powles Staton Funeral Home, Rockwell.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2016, 2:00 pm at Brookhill Memorial Gardens, Rockwell, NC, with Rev. Ron Young, officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at Jimmy's home from 3:30 pm - until.
