Paul Addison Lambe, 80, of Salisbury, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at his home in Salisbury, NC.
He was born on September 10, 1936 to the late John and Mary Hedrick Lambe in Rowan County, NC. He attended school at Spencer High School. Paul was a Veteran of the United States Army, he was a member of Organ Lutheran Church, a life member of the AMVETS, and a member of the Spencer Moose Lodge. He enjoyed fishing, looking for arrow heads, hunting, pitching horseshoes and going to the beach.
Paul retired from Packing Corp. of America in October, 1998 after 44 years.
In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by brothers, James Lambe, Fred Lambe, John Lambe.
Paul is survived by his wife of over 61 years, Kay Shuping Lambe; brother, Ralph Lambe; three sisters, Evelyn Jacobs, Ruth Fisher and husband Jack, Louise Nicholas all of Salisbury; special nephew, John Jacobs and wife Pat; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Sunday, May 21, 2017, 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm at Organ Lutheran Church Parlor, Salisbury, NC.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 21, 2017, 3:00 pm at the Organ Lutheran Church, Salisbury, NC, with Rev. Carlin Ours, officiating. Burial will take place in the Organ Lutheran Church Cemetery with military graveside rites provided by the NC National Guard and the Rowan County Veterans Honor Guard.
